How to Hand Wash Knitwear

Fill a container with enough warm water to cover your knitted garment and add wool soap.
Submerge the garment in water and gently squish out air bubbles. Be careful not to agitate when washing wool, as it will felt.
Let the garment soak for at least twenty minutes. The longer it soaks the more the fiber will relax and open up.
Drain water from container, roll the garment up in a towel and step on it to squish out the excess water.
Lay the garment out on a dry towel, reshape, and leave to dry.
