Dartmoor Sweater

This pullover sweater is a staple garment in my closet. I knit it to have an oversized fit so that it is big and cozy – perfect for layering or throwing on for a walk. It is also comfy enough that I wear it to class when I would rather be wearing pajamas. I knit this sweater with two yarns held together, one is a merino and the other is a silk mohair which gives the fabric a soft and pretty halo. 

Another reason why I love this sweater is the color. The more I knit the more I realize that I really love neutral colors because they are easy to pair with other colors and they are subtly pretty. A big neutral garment like this pairs perfectly with a smaller accessory as a pop of color.
