Oolong Tank

This top is one of the few garments I have made that incorporates lace work. The delicate lace motif starts in the middle of the front hem and continues up before splitting and continuing on either side of the neck line. This top is light and summery, and although I have yet to do it, I image that it would be perfect overtop of a slip dress or skirt. 

One of the reasons that this top is a great summer top, is because I knit it out of silk. Silk creates a yarn that is light, drapy, and dry feeling, similar to linen. The lace also adds an element of breathability and drape to the top.
