Interchangeable Knitting Needles

Although all knitting is done with needles, there are many different types of needles. My favorite kind of needle to work with is metal interchangeable needles. The interchangeable needle set that I have is by the brand Chiaogoo and comes with a range of needle sizes from US2-US15 as well as a variety of different cable lengths.

One benefit of interchangeable needles is that they cut down on the amount of needles I would have to buy because you can switch out cable lengths. If I knit with fixed needles and wasn’t able to switch out the lengths of the cable I would have to purchase a whole new needle. Interchangeable needles are more of an initial investment, and I think that’s why a lot of people choose fixed needles, but in the long term they are worth it.
